About The Course
For over 40 years, Emporia Golf Course in Emporia, Kansas has welcomed local golfers to play a round of golf on its championship layout. Opened in 1970 and owned by the City of Emporia, the course is known as the hometown favorite location for a round of golf players of all ages and skill levels can enjoy.
Our gorgeous municipal golf course is located midway between Wichita and Kansas City in eastern Kansas. The Par 71 course measures over 6600 yards from the back (blue) tees. The manageable length of the golf course along with our affordable public rates make Emporia Golf Course your best choice for outdoor recreation. The course features many rolling hills, magnificent fairways, native fescues, and provides a healthy challenge for all golfers.
